Middle Fork Adventures has limited spaces left during the traditional summer school break! Last year we had such a great time on our Kid's Trip that for 2024 we are offering a special kids rate on all of our August trips. This part of the summer season is the ideal time to raft the Middle Fork with kids as young as 6. The days are long and sunny, the river is warmer perfect for swimming and jumping in, and the rapids are fun without being scary.
We specialize in family adventures. Our guide crew and staff are experts when it comes to vacations with kids. Everything from the food to the camping accommodations, we know how to make sure kids and their families have fun while being comfortable.

KIDS TRIP HIGHLIGHTS​

Perfect Timing

Lower river flows and warm temperatures are perfect for kids. There are ample opportunities for swimming, playing in the river, splash fights and other river shenanigans when it is this picture perfect.

The river is largely class III in early August and appropriate for adventurers as young as 6 years old.

Time to Play

Our August trips begin with a scenic flight into Indian Creek and then we travel 75 miles downstream over 6 days. This relaxed milage and trip pace means there is lots of time for fun in camp, on the beach and on the water.

DETAILS & INCLUSIONS​

All camping gear is included. We ask guests to pair up in our spacious 5-person tents, leaving plenty of space for you to sleep off the ground up on our cots. Sleeping bags and standard pillows are also provided.

We provide all the food for the trip, and our guides take pride in serving you the best food in the wilderness.

A small amount of wine is provided at dinners, but you are more than welcome to bring additional beverages and we will have plenty of safe storage for it.

We always bring a handful of fly rods, and plenty of flies, tippet, etc. You are welcome to use our equipment, but keep in mind that it is shared among all of the guests. We also find that accomplished anglers are usually more comfortable with and enjoy fishing their own rods more than ours.
